Last year Sparklike introduced a groundbreaking laser technology to measure the argon fill of triple glazed units – including those with specific coatings such as Low-E.
To present and discuss these new technologies and products, we are actively participating in glass industry events and congresses worldwide. From March 1-2 we attended Baku Glass and the GPD Conference.
As usual, the GPD Conference had a great line up of interesting speakers – including our own CEO Miikkael Niemi, who discussed the non-invasive technologies in IGU measurement.
Baku Glass brought several leading glass companies to Azerbaijan. We were pleased to be in a company of Glaston and Bystronic.
The Caucasus area is an interesting market to Sparklike as it is developing fast and there is plenty of on-going construction, despite the tough economic climate that hinders some investments. The Azerbaijan economy in particular appears to be open to new ideas and knowhow to further develop the industry, as today the manufacturing in Azerbaijan is somewhat limited.
“Baku Glass itself brought some of the best equipment and service providers to Azerbaijan, and thus the discussions were plentiful and of high quality. We found a few interesting new companies that could benefit from our argon testing solutions. We are also interested in finding a distributor for the area, and got few interesting names to continue the discussions”, said Miikkael Niemi on the experience of visiting Baku Glass.
Sparklike will continue to attend new and exciting events within the glass industry – next is Windoor Expo in China.
