Stekloprogress XXI – the International Glass Conference – will take place at the Saratov Glass Institute, Russia. The event will also include reports and posters regarding the diverse and many aspects of glass in its different formats and applications.
The 6th edition of the International Glass Conference Stekloprogress XXI, will take place 15-18 May 2012 at the Saratov Glass Institute, Russia.
During the conference, the following issues will be discussed:
• perspective for developing the glass industry;
• glass compounds and characteristics;
• raw materials and preparation of glass batch;
• the development of nanotechnology for float glass production;
• architectural and decorative glass;
• glass melting furnaces and refractories;
• technology of glass melting, forming, annealing and end operations;
• safety glazing, glazing units;
• energy saving glazing;
• glass engineering industry;
• equipments and tools for producing and processing glass;
• scientific-research equipments;
• investigation of physical, chemical and exploitational properties of glass, refractories and glass products.
Russian and international specialists in the field of glass manufacturing and representatives of specialized magazines are invited to participate.
Reports and posters will be published, and the deadline for receiving material has been set for 15 March 2012.
Registration fee for participants is USD 500 per person, and includes: service fee, transfer, conference materials, lunch, excursions, evening events.
Hotel accommodation and transport are to be paid by participants.
