During the recent meeting between the heads of the Department of Glass Containers and TC (ITC) 074, attendees discussed the problematic issues of developing and implementing new standards, training technical personnel of glass factories.
A joint meeting was recently held, and chaired by Osipov Viktor Ivanovich – President of StekloSouz of Russia, with the heads of the Department of Glass Containers and TC (ITC) 074. During the meeting, the problematic issues of developing and implementing new standards, training technical personnel of glass factories and more were discussed.
Based on the results of the planned work for the past five years, the experts of the Committee have prepared and are preparing for the implementation of more than 27 standards. Some of them have already been put into operation.
The demands of consumers, according to Viktor Ivanovich, will grow constantly in the age of the scientific and technological revolution. And the experts of the TC “Glassware and tableware” should constantly improve technology for modern requests, developing the legal field ahead of time, so that glass factories are ready for any consumer requirements.
Sergeeva Lyudmila Sergeevna – the chairman of the TC (ITC) 074 assured the leadership of the Glass Containers Department of StekloSouz of Russia that the Committee developed the draft PNS for 2018. This document was agreed with the Agency for Technical Regulation of the CIS countries.
It is necessary in 2018 to develop three interstate standards with mandatory harmonization with NSO standards, for the wider introduction of TR TC 005/2011 “On the safety of packaging”. At the same time, LS Sergeeva noted that: “Until now, the issue of development financing is not clear. This situation has a negative impact on the development of planned topics.”
The meeting adopted the following decisions:
* Steklo Union of Russia to work out problem issues with the leadership of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology.
* In order to fulfil the decision of the Forum “Glass and modern technologies-??1” to start systematic work on training specialists of glass factories together with employees of food industry enterprises on mastering new quality requirements, methods of control, studying the Federal Law.
To solve this problem, the leadership of the Department of Glass Containers of the SSR together with the Consumer Associations, within the framework of the current cooperation agreements, to prepare problem topics for study at seminars.
Chairman of the Technical Committee Sergeeva L.S. will prepare with experts a thematic and calendar plan for 2018 for coordination and work.
Other decisions were made to harmoniously develop the production of glass containers for various segments of the food industry.
