Tariq Glass Industries’ new 550 tons per day float glass plant, erected with technical collaboration from Yaohua Glass, has started its operations, and is now the largest float glass factory in Pakistan.
Tariq Glass Industries is proud to announce that its new 550 tons per day float glass plant has started its operations, which makes it now the largest float glass factory in Pakistan. The company presented this furnace and its facilities in a private ceremony to a select community of domestic distributors and investors. This plant was erected with technical collaboration from Yaohua Glass, China.
The envisaged production scope covers clear, green, green reflective, bronze and bronze reflective glass with other colours such as grey and blue being added to the offering in 2014. The company will be manufacturing float glass ranging in thickness from 2mm to 12mm, which will enable them to target construction, automotive, architectural as well as various other market segments. The online CVD coating facility will further enlarge the product spectrum. In addition the company will also begin the trial production of aluminium coated mirrors in July 2013.
Clear float glass production has started and the company is already providing supplies to its domestic as well as select export markets.
