The company announced they have successfully completed a Hot Repair on the Tin Bath Roof for a Flat Glass Production Line.
After just 3 years since the formation of TC Float and many successful new installations and repairs, TC Float announced they have successfully completed a Hot Repair on the Tin Bath Roof for the Flat Glass Production Line of Saint-Gobain Glass in Stolberg, Germany.
This repair was carried out whilst the tin was kept molten and consisted of increasing the heating capacity in several zones, as well as the installation of completely new zones.
TC Float was responsible for design, supply of all materials, tools, manpower and supervision.
TC Float chose TCCE to provide the manpower and sitework, due to their vast knowledge and expertise working on the Tin Bath Roof.
TC Float would like to acknowledge the team of engineers of Saint-Gobain and TCCE in the success of this specialized operation.
No longer do glass makers have to accept producing glass with damaged or broken heating elements, TC Float can replace the defective elements, without the need to shut down the line.
