In close cooperation with the Italian company Forel Spa, SOFTSOLUTION technician Samir Pasalic installed a vertical LineScanner (3300mm) on a Forel insulating glass line at Technical Glass & Aluminum Company in Dubai.

In the future, the use of the LineScanner will enable early detection and elimination of potential sources of error. The LineScanner checks single lites for surface defects after the washing machine, to prevent defective single lites from being used to make an IG unit. This makes the inspection much more stable and reliable than manual inspection and thus saves time and costs in the production process.
