The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, participated at the opening of the Vocational Education Centre under the Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park Limited Liability Company and said, “Sumgayit today is the second largest industrial centre not only in Azerbaijan, but also in the South Caucasus. Sumgayit’s potential is getting stronger.”
“A glass manufacturing plant will also start operating here this year, large investments have been made there, and it will provide us with glass. Although due to the pandemic, the construction sector is experiencing some recession today, it is recovering and will be restored. We will provide ourselves with local glass. This is also a great achievement, ” the President added.
