Dietmar Maginot has been appointed as export manager to spearhead Thermoseal Group’s expansion into the international market and increase its share of Warm Edge business. Dietmar’s resume includes nine years as head of Technical Service at Kömmerling, seven years as sales manager at Profilglass and a further seven years as Sales Director of t-si-i.de GmbH.
Gwain Paterson, Thermoseal Group’s Managing Director, commented as follows: “We have a clear and ambitious strategy whereby we want to further establish our own UK manufactured Warm Edge products in the international market place. Having invested heavily in research, development and production facilities to increase our manufacturing output, we are now in a position to develop our international sales whilst simultaneously ensuring that UK manufactured IG glass components are represented globally.”
“Maginot has an extensive contact network throughout Europe that is sure to prove invaluable in driving Thermoseal Group’s international sales forward.”
Dietmar had the following to say when asked about his new role at Thermoseal Group: “Thermoseal Group’s Warm Edge products are exceptional in their ability to minimize heat loss in sealed units and thereby maximize energy efficiency. The expanding market across Europe means that the opportunities for our Warm Edge products are definitely there.”
“I wanted to work at Thermoseal Group with people I have esteemed for the past 20 years, and to be part of their evolving growth strategy. I was highly influenced when I visited the Wigan production site; the production equipment and the test and research facilities were all state of the art. This shows determination not just to manufacture products but to have the knowledge to manufacture at a high quality level. I was keen to join them in their continuing success story and to use my knowledge of the industry in Europe to help Thermoseal Group become a leading supplier beyond the UK market.”
