T&I Sealed Units stay ahead of the game with Inagas

T&I upgrades production line with Inagas Smartfill 2 Argon gas filling machine.

Inagas, industry leaders in the supply of gas filling machinery and testing equipment, is delighted to announce that it has extended its partnership with T&I Sealed units with the supply of a Smartfill 2 machine.
Established in 1978, T&I Sealed Units started out producing aluminium windows and sealed units. Over time the company moved towards making sealed units, insulated glass and double glazing and today the company specialises in the production of top quality, Kitemarked sealed units. T&I prides itself of being ahead of the game when it comes to the stringent industry regulations, so took the decision some 10 years ago to gas fill its units, and Inagas was the first port of call.
More recently, the original line was upgraded to the Smartfill 2 model, an Argon gas filling machine with 250mm touch screen controls and the latest technology to enhance control and improve productivity. It comes complete with the patented Smart Start filling lance, which provides control without the need to return to the unit. The machine is capable of 30 litres per minute per line and is designed for dual line production – making it ideal for increasing productivity.
Dave Jones, Managing Director of T&I Sealed Units comments: “We’ve been working with Inagas for 10 years now, and as well as providing us with a reliable machine, we have a great relationship with Chris and Malcolm, they’ve always looked after us. After upgrading to the Smartfill 2, we have been impressed with its levels of accuracy and the data logging capability. With 95% of our units being gas filled, it’s vital that our equipment is reliable, and we have always been able to trust Inagas machines. The next step for us will be to take on the printing feature.”
