Top international companies exhibiting at China Glass 2016

The 27th China International Glass Industrial Technical Exhibition (China Glass 2016) organized by Chinese Ceramic Society and contracted by Zhonggui Exhibition Co., Ltd. will be held at Shanghai New International Exhibition Centre on 11-14 April 2016.

The exhibiting area is over 80,000 square meters, and will occupy 7 halls. Over 800 well-known glass enterprises from 29 countries around the world are expected to participate.
At present, the glass industry is confronting the multiple pressures including excess capacity of traditional product, slower development of new technical products, and contradictions between supply and demand. With continuing resource and environmental constraints, the costs of the labor and other factors of production continuing to rise, development of the industry has slowed down, with the flat glass industry facing a grim situation at the loss in whole segment.
Despite these difficulties, both new and previous exhibitors from home and abroad have booked booths, with a large number of foreign glass companies taking larger booths than before. Up to Dec. 31, 2015, there were 564 domestic companies definitely to participate in the event. Among them, the North Glass has booked 1200 m2 space. Many well-known companies applied for booths even before last event was over; these include Triumph International, Luoyang Float Glass Group, Land Glass, Mingte Glass, Jinjing Group, China Glass Holding, Weihai Blue Star, CSG Glass, Shanghai SYP Glass, Shandong Guangyao, Flat Glass Group, Shahe Glass Group, HIHO Glass, and others. China Building Material Academy in glass research & design field, Kaixin, Guangyao and Hebei Yingxin in glass deep processing field, reserved raw space between 100 and 300 square meters as they join in China Glass at first time. Mr. Glass Co of art glass field will bring their products of independent innovation: unbleached cameo art glass. Triumph Group’s robot will feature the industrial 4.0 concept at the first demonstration in China Glass 2016. Even though the domestic exhibiting area is sold out, there are still many Chinese companies negotiating with the organizer for booths.
Currently, over 200 international exhibitors have confirmed participation in the event, including Glaston Group, Bystronic AG, Dip-tech, Kuraray GmbH, Ven•Ardenne, Bohle GmbH, SEPR, Asahi Group, Fanuc Co., Ltd, Lisec Co., Ltd.,OMCO n.v. and Vesuvius Co.,Ltd.
The leading companies in Europe and USA including Bottero and Intermac of Italy, PPG of USA and Grenzebach of German will also be attending China Glass 2016. Germany’s pavilion area is up to 800 square meters – a new record. It reflects confidence from foreign manufacturers on Chinese economy and development of Chinese glass industry.
With the implementation of the “One Belt and One Road” strategy, many companies from countries along the road are pitching their camps in China Glass 2016 one after another: ENTEC from Kazakhstan, SOYTAS and BEST from Turkey, ARDAKAN and Kaveh from Iran, SGS from Indonesia, DURST from Singapore, HEAT from India and Glass Service from Czech.
China Glass 2016 is the 27th event since its launch in 1986. With 30 years of development and improvement, China Glass has become one of the two largest events in global glass and is as well known as Glasstec for strong speciality, high-degree internationalization and the largest exhibiting area in Asia. China Glass is the best platform to demonstrate the newest technology, equipment and products of glass industry. With the change of China’s economy from the traditional mode to the middle and high end, the glass industry is moving forward, particularly as China’s Government forces gradual strict requests to the industry to reduce excess capacity and decrease energy consumption, Chinese enterprises are anxious to incorporate the technology for energy–saving and consumption reduction. At this year’s exhibition, besides the traditional glass-processing technology and equipment and glass products, diversified special glass products, manufacturing technology and machinery, especially new products, technology and equipment relevant to low-carbon economy, energy conservation, emission reduction, new energy and green building materials will be featured.
The 2016 year is the beginning of The 13th Five-Year Plan of China glass industry, including the implementation of series strategies including “One Belt and One Road”, Beijing-Tianji-Hebei Economic Band, Yangtze River Economic Zone and “Made in China2025” will greatly push forward the pace of the mode transform and structural adjustment in China glass industry. It is expected that China Glass 2016 will be not only an exchange platform to assist China’s glass industry in mode transform and development, but also a great business opportunity for global glass enterprises in trade, technology cooperation and exchange.
