Transforming perspectives: Mir Stekla renamed World of Glass

The international exhibition Mir Stekla is undergoing a significant transformation as it changes its English name from Mir Stekla to World of Glass. This alteration comes as part of a rebranding effort to enhance the global visibility and recognition of the event, reflecting its focus on the diverse facets of the glass industry.

The renaming of Mir Stekla to World of Glass will surely spark interest among the foreign audience, recognising the significant international presence at the event. With 201 companies from 10 countries – Belarus, China, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Italy, Russia, Switzerland and Turkiye – participating in the show, the global flavour is undeniable. Moreover, the fact that foreign visitors make up 7 percent of the total attendance further underscores the show’s international appeal.

This change is set to significantly improve the visibility and understanding of the show’s focus on glass-related industries and innovations for English-speaking visitors.

Overall, the decision to rename the event to World of Glass is a strategic move that not only highlights the global nature of the event but also underscores the importance of catering to the needs and preferences of an English-speaking audience. This change is poised to elevate its profile and establish it as a must-attend event on the international glass industry calendar.

In 2025, the event will relocate to a bigger and more spacious Pavilion 1, offering an enhanced experience for visitors. World of Glass 2025 will take place March 11 to 14 in Moscow, Russia.
