TUROMAS and IGE draw attention at GlassBuild America 2019

The fair’s 17th edition, held from September 17th to 19th in Atlanta, brought together almost half a thousand exhibitors at the Georgia World Congress Center

GlassBuild America is the annual reference meeting in North America for the glass and window and door manufacturers, the exhibition organized by the National Glass Association (NGA) offered an extensive display of the latest machinery and equipment manufactured inside and outside the United States.

Once again, TUROMAS participated as an exhibitor at GlassBuild America and, for the eighth consecutive year, did so together with IGE Glass Technologies, distributor of Spanish machinery in North America.
The stand that both firms shared in the fair did not go unnoticed by visitors interested in learning more about TUROMAS and its portfolio of intelligent machinery and services.
In addition to the RUBI 303VA monolithic glass cutting table, the Flat Glass Distributors was the other major protagonist from the Hispanic American stand. For the first time ever, a video of the series ‘TUROMAS In The World’ was screened to introduce a customer who has opted for intelligent machinery in Spain.
The extensive program of GlassBuild America 2019 also included some parallel proposals such as seminars on updates and market trends, 20-minute educational sessions dedicated to teaching key aspects to improve business profitability or live demonstrations.

RUBI 303VA, in Atlanta
In this unique space, the RUBI 303VA monolithic glass cutting table from TUROMAS was shown. This model can load, cut and evacuate the glass sheets from the table itself.

The pioneering loading system of this model, formed by swinging arms with suction cups, was implanted more than three decades ago and continues to be used under any condition.

In addition, the RUBI 303VA also incorporates a serial parting system that makes it completely autonomous.

The RUBI 300 series has eight models and is designed for those companies that need a versatile and efficient cutting machine for standard or jumbo-sized glass. They can work autonomously or they can be combined with loaders, loading tables and parting tables, offering a cheap and compact solution to automate production.
