Valmieras stikla šķiedra has entered into an agreement to acquire PD Interglas Technologies, which is involved in the production of glass fiber for the aviation industry, thermal insulation and architecture.
Valmieras stikla šķiedra has reportedly entered into an agreement to acquire British company PD Interglas Technologies Ltd. PD Interglas is involved in the production of glass fiber for the aviation industry, thermal insulation and architecture. The company’s turnover in 2012 amounted to EUR 20 million.
According to members of the Valmieras Board, the acquisition of PD Interglas Technologies will provide the Latvian company with another way to expand its production at global level.
Valmieras’ turnover in 2012 amounted to LVL 49.9 million, with a net profit of LVL 2.75 million. In 2013, the year the company intends to achieve a turnover of LVL 62.97 million.
