Valspar Mirror Coatings has announced the appointment of Petra L’Abbe as the new Business Director Global Mirror Coatings. In her new position, she will report to Ezio Braggio, Vice President Commercial EMEAI at Valspar. Michael Seidler, previously in the same position, has announced his intention to leave Valspar to pursue alternative opportunities.
Petra L’Abbe has been appointed as the new Business Director Global Mirror Coatings reporting to Ezio Braggio, Vice President Commercial EMEAI at Valspar as Michael Seidler, previously in the same position, has announced his intention to leave Valspar to pursue alternative opportunities.
Petra has been part of the Global Packaging Marketing team since joining Valspar in 2009 and the last few years has been in the role of Packaging Global Business Development Director. Prior to Valspar Petra spent over 20 years in various technical and commercial roles in the Industrial and General Industrial Coatings businesses at PPG Industries. Petra’s work history includes previous commercial experience in PPG’s mirror coating business. She brings this experience along with her vast technical, product management, market development and business development experience to this new role at Valspar. Petra is based at Valspar, Pittsburgh, PA, USA site.
Michael Seidler, the European employee with the oldest seniority at Valspar Europe (almost 18 years), will support Petra over the next several weeks in order to transition the Business to her and the Global Mirror Team.
With this appointment, Valspar reinforces its commitment to the Global Mirror industry and its global customer base. Valspar will continue to invest in product and technology innovation to support the continued growth and expansion of this market.
