According to a recent report, the Verlipack factory at Ghlin, which has been the scene of a strike since 10pm on 1 December, and which is currently operating under the supervision of trustees, was in principle due to resume activity at 6am on 7 December. Following a vote organized among staff, the conditions for the relaunch and the organization of work, as demanded by Dominique Baclaen, a candidate to acquire the glass bottle plant, were reluctantly accepted by staff, the report said.
