Chilean Vidrios Lirqun, a joint venture of NSG Group, Saint-Gobain and Inversiones Pathfinder, has resumed production of float glass after the earthquake in February 2010 in Chile. During the renovation, which was completed in record time, Vidrios Lirqun maintained its Chilean clients, thanks to deliveries from other production sites. The company also maintained its staff of 280 employees. The restart means that the company“s clients can once again use the full range of products produced locally.
