Vitro America has announced that Doug Penn has been named director of architectural aluminium. Penn will oversee the growth and expansion of the company“s Classic Line architectural aluminium products and comes to the company with an extensive industry background. Doug is a tremendous addition to our team. We are growing our product offerings and we have ambitious plans for our aluminium, says Arturo Carrillo, Vitro America President. I am confident that Doug will do great job in building this line to meet the high levels of success and performance that we already have with our other product lines like our EnergyGlaze Insulating Glass and Envision All Glass Systems. Penn arrives at Vitro America with 27 years of industry experience including time with PPG Industries, YKK AP and the United Glass Corp. Penn also holds a position within the Glass Association of North America as chair of the Building Envelope Contractors division.
