Vitro Architectural Glass has launched clarvista.com
Vitro Architectural Glass’ new Vitro Architectural Glass highlights the beauty, durability and value of premium shower glass.
Vitro Architectural Glass (formerly PPG Glass) has launched clarvista.com, a new website dedicated to educating consumers, designers, specifiers and other building professionals about Clarvista® glass, a premium shower glass that, with proper care, looks newer longer than other shower glass products.
The site is designed to help architects, interior designers and homeowners learn about the durability, clarity and value of Clarvista glass, which is formulated with a super-protective pyrolytic coating that is fused to the glass, enabling it to resist dullness and hazing throughout its service life.
The site features results from lab testing that quantifies the superior performance of Clarvista glass, along with detailed instructions for cleaning and maintenance; contact information for Clarvista glass suppliers in the United States, Canada and Europe; and a photo gallery of Clarvista glass installations.
Visitors can also download a product brochure as well as a comprehensive technical paper detailing how Clarvista glass compares to other coated and uncoated shower glasses in a battery of rigorous durability tests.
Robert Struble, manager, brand and communications, Vitro Architectural Glass, said the website highlights both the strength and beauty of Clarvista glass. “The art and science of Clarvista glass make it an ideal choice for designers and specifiers for high-end luxury resorts and spas, but there’s also great information for consumers who want the long-term value and performance a premium shower glass can bring to their homes,” he explained.
Clarvista glass is available on conventional clear glass, Starphire Ultra-Clear® glass by Vitro Glass and acid-etched glass in thicknesses of 6, 10 and 12 millimeters.
Vitro Architectural Glass, part of Vitro, S.A.B. de C.V., is a new organization created from Vitro’s acquisition of PPG’s flat glass business unit. Now the largest company of its kind in the Americas, Vitro Architectural Glass manufactures industry-leading brands such as Solarban®, Sungate® and Starphire Ultra-Clear®glasses at US plants in Carlisle, Pennsylvania; Fresno, California; Salem, Oregon; and Wichita Falls, Texas. The company also operates one of the world’s largest glass research and development facilities in Pittsburgh and four residential glass fabrication plants in Canada.
