Dedicated to make real-time adjustments and create tridimensional proposals, Vitro Containers’ new Design Center facilitates the decision-making process for Vitro’s customers
Known as SITE, the centre’s purpose is to support customers throughout the entire process of creation, manufacture and distribution.
The new Design Center focuses on customers in the cosmetic and fragrance markets. It recently opened its doors in the Cosmos plant, located in Toluca, State of Mexico.
It has a videoconferencing system that allows for live interaction with the Vitro representatives in New York City, where the headquarters of its main customers from the cosmetic and fragrance markets are located.
“This important location features 16 workstations with special software for the development of new products and packaging ideas, while it is equipped with three Mac desktops for the development of special container finishes,” commented Miguel Ortiz, responsible for the New Product Design and Development area at Cosmos.
The new facilities are 100% functional and allow the company to perform these processes in an ideal manner, as a means to provide better service to its customers
and users.
“We can further say that it is a safe and comfortable workplace with excellent lighting since it has internal glass dividers that imply cleanliness, transparency and aesthetics. On the other hand, we also have a specific internet network for the exclusive use of our customers, allowing them to visit their intranet sites from our facilities,” said Edgar Martínez, New Export Medicine & Cosmetics Products Leader.
“The SITE is very important for our customers, as it was especially created for them; from here we can manage, analyze and/or negotiate issues related to specific projects such as adjustments to particular designs in real-time, creating 3D proposals for our customers and further facilitating the decision making process. It also offers technical support from experts in new product development, which ultimately provides confidence and reassures the customer of achieving an even more successful concept development with Vitro,” said Shlomo Frymerman, Medicine & Cosmetics Business General Manager at Vitro.
