German windows and doors manufacturer Weru AG of Rudersberg said it is planning a number of acquisitions this year. Management board spokesman Walter Had said concrete talks were being held with several companies. The expansion will be funded mainly by the new major shareholder Triton Fund, which owns 98%. Meanwhile, Weru turnover fell by DM 21 million to DM 353.9 million in 1999. Net profits increased to DM 27.6 million from DM 10.5 million.
