Yorglas® to showcase its newest solutions and investments at glasstec

Turkey’s leading decorative and satin glass processor Yorglas® will participate in glasstec in Dusseldorf, Germany, 23-26 October 2018 and exhibit its solutions in Hall 10, on Booth 10D48.

As the first satin-finish product manufacturer and fastest growing glass processor in Turkey, Cam Merkezi – Yorglas® has been serving the glass market for over 29 years, with numerous types of products used in more than 55 countries, from Australia to United States, from Venezuela to Korea. Yorglas® focuses on continuous improvement and takes its sense of production one step forward with new investments.

As a result of numerous activities carried out since 1989 with the target of being the reference name of pioneering technology, Yorglas® announced, that after the ground breaking of a new mega plant in Manisa/Turkey held 22 March of 2018, it will continue to produce at its new plant with state-of-the-art production lines and increasing production volumes.

Located on an area of 64 hectares, and with an indoor area of 40,000 m2, Yorglas®’s new mega plant will produce acid etched satin and decorative glass with the latest technology. With this improvement, the production capacity of Yorglas® will double and grow almost 70% compared to the present.

Committed to continuous improvement, Cam Merkezi will meet all requirements of the digital transformation age and all market challenges by switching to Industry 4.0 with its fully automated production lines.

Yorglas® also announced that it will start to produce 3,210×5,100 and 3,210×6,000mm Jumbo size glass at the mega plant, ready to be sent to its entire global export network. Yorglas® will be also able to produce special sizes for special customer projects.

Thanks to this investment, Yorglas® will provide its customer base the opportunity to reduce wastage and time lost during daily operations. Regardless of outdoor or indoor projects, Yorglas®’s new Jumbo Sizes will improve production efficiency and time saving of its customers.
