Production and technological

Ampoule forming
Chinese factories interested in
starting or increasing their glass
ampoules production can choose
their forming machine among
MM30 made by MODERNE
MECANIQUE, with a maxi-
mum output of 4,500 pieces per
hour, and the 36-station machine
FA36S, produced at OCMI
Italian facilities. This second
model is very much appreciated
by the main Chinse manufactur-
ers thanks to its station for first
bottom forming that allows to
produce one more ampoule per
each tube and to reduce glass
waste.
Production efficiency, one of
the most important parameters
for end-users, depends not only
on standard equipment but also
on the optional devices installed.
The OPTISTEM/2 camera
system for dimensional control
developed by OCMI for ampoule
forming machines MM30 and
FA36S surely helps to keep the
ampoule stem diameter with-
in more tight tolerances and
improve the output quality.
