franco Canzano: Moving
on to profile shapers and
cutters is where my son
comes into the business.
After picking up an old
profile cutter – mechanical
– and after a request from
a client for a digital cutter –
my son developed this new
type of machine inserting a
small PLC.
After that there was no
holding him back – he went
on to develop other profile
cutters, double-head cut-
ters, butyl extruders, ca-
landers for profile bending,
and so on. The most recent
of his projects is the hy-
draulic bi-component ex-
truder – an impressive and
complex machine.
